Situation
Sales Management spent months of hands on time creating year-end account sales report
documents for Top 100 customers. The data needed for these reports came from three
disparate databases which were very large, often resulting in lengthy wait times
for processing. Once totaled, sales data had to be scraped out of the databases
manually and entered into report documents. Time consuming creation process left
little time for advanced analysis or presentation polish.

Result
DXT.Report Builder automated the creation of year-end account sales report documents
and made them possible for over 40,000 Solutia customers. DXT.Report Builder generated
reports included advanced sales and product transition analysis not previously available
to company. Highly professional presentation template ensured all reports look consistent
and include the same sales information for all accounts. Further, the software came
loaded with logos for Top 150 Accounts for co-branding purposes. Data is updated
monthly, in a seamless manner, via DXT's internet based Update capability.
After a few months of use, a highly placed leader within the company claimed that
"DXT. Report Builder is the best sales tool in the entire company."
